SPRING / WINTER TRAVEL ADVICE
WE HAVE FOUND THAT DURING THE SPRING AND WINTER MONTHS, IT IS BEST FOR OUR GUESTS TO ENTER THE CAMP FROM ROUTE #29 INSTEAD OF HIGHWAY #6. THE TOWNSHIP’S GRAVEL ROAD OFF HIGHWAY #6 IS OFTEN DANGEROUSLY ICE COVERED AND/OR DRIFTED IN THE WINTER AND DUE TO THAWING AND RAINY CONDITIONS IN THE SPRING, THE ROAD IS UNABLE TO BE WELL MAINTAINED. PLEASE BE SURE TO CALL THE CAMP OFFICE IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF ROAD CONDITIONS.
